Hades is constructed from resin, seashell, sea urchin, Scyllarides nodifer (local slipper or shovel nose lobster) glass, and an assortment of found and fabricated materials.
Like many Fredian Slips works, this piece began with the spark of an idea. Materials accumulated, interacted, and ultimately determined their own relationships with some, of course, help from the artist.
